The Benefits of Using The Puripool Process
As fall and cooler temperatures approach there is a big shift in the swimming pool industry. There is a huge increase in the number of people that think about draining their swimming pools due to hard water. When outside temperatures drop below 80 degrees it’s safer to drain a swimming pool because of the chances of cracking the foundation due to heat lower. In the Southwest where our tap water is loaded with calcium, magnesium, and other hardness minerals, it’s recommended to change out your water every two years to prevent calcium scaling on the tile, interior finish, filtration equipment, and decorative water features. Since we have reached this time frame we want to suggest an alternative the takes all the risks out of changing your water.
If you’re not familiar with hard water, it is extremely common throughout the Southwest and it can destroy not only swimming pools but decorative water features in the house as well. It’s literally a nightmare especially if you’re not expecting it. In the swimming pool industry, you will hear terms like your Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are too high or the Calcium Hardness (CH) levels in your swimming pool water is too high and it’s time to drain it. But wait, don’t drain when you can recycle! About 10 years ago we developed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) mobile filtration trailer that recycles residential and commercial swimming pool water to prevent the needless waste of an average of 20,000-gallons or more. We’re primarily working in the San Diego area and have conserved more than 53-million gallons of water. During this time we’ve also put together a Service Provider Model which has gained interest in the U.S. and all over the world.
When it comes time to changing out the water in your swimming pool the biggest key is to know there are options out there and these options are much better than a standard drain and refill. Some of the benefits of our mobile filtration Puripool Process are:
- Faster than a drain and refill
- Saves time, money and water
- Leaves you with better water than what’s coming out of the tap
- Increases the lifespan of the pool, pumps and other equipment
- Water Conservation
- Excellent Water Quality
We are extremely passionate about what we do and feel this option is the right way to go for many reasons. So we ask that the next time someone says you need to drain your pool, please remember that The Puripool Process is the best option.
