Six years ago when we started Pool Services Technologies we manufactured only one size trailer for our mobile filtration equipment. It was a 20′ trailer that housed all of our mobile filtration equipment, generator, hoses and more. This size trailer was decided upon because it allowed us to process 40,000 gallons of water per day and gave us the option to filter residential swimming pools as well as commercial. For the longest time we truly believed that this was the only size trailer we needed but like anything else, as the business grows you start looking into other options. That is exactly what we did and thought it might be prudent for us to build a smaller version as well. We felt this gave our service providers the option depending on the type of swimming pools they were going to filter and their budget as well.
As of today, our new 14′ trailer is available for purchase. It houses all the same equipment with one major difference and that is the size of the filtration equipment. This reverse osmosis system processes up to 20,000 gallons of water per day and is primarily used for residential swimming pools only. Thanks to Jim Calkins of Weber Pools in Grapevine, TX for being the first to purchase our smaller filtration trailer. Interestingly enough, Jim was also the first to buy our larger filtration trailer as well. His swimming pool company is located in Grapevine, Texas and they offer “The Puripool Process.”
Jim shares our vision in water conservation. Our company was built on the premise that swimming pools in the Southern United States should be drained every two years because of calcium and other hardness minerals in the fill water. Instead of draining them we believed there was a better solution. That’s why we built these mobile filtration trailers which can recycle swimming pool water and conserve up to 85% of the existing water in the swimming pool. Thanks for sharing our vision Jim…. It has truly been a pleasure to work with you.
REMEMBER DON’T DRAIN YOUR SWIMMING POOL, PURIPOOL!
