For the past month, we have been in discussions with The City of San Marcos to recycle The Woodland Park Aquatic Complex swimming pool. As a commercial pool in California, most are concerned about conserving the water in the pool and having no downtime. By utilizing our Reverse Osmosis (RO) Mobile Filtration Trailer, they were able to do both! Just last week we began the process of processing their 240,000-gallon commercial swimming pool. Some of the concerns were Calcium Hardness, water quality and being able to provide their bathers with the best water to swim in. Knowing that a drain and refill would take quite a long time it was an easy decision to use The Puripool Process. They knew they would achieve the best water possible, that it wasn’t necessary to drain the pool, that swimming could occur during filtration and most importantly water conservation.

When we first pulled up to this property we measured their Calcium Hardness at 500 parts per million (ppm) and their Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) at 3500ppm. In preparation for the upcoming swim season, it was important for them to know that their chemistry was balanced, their calcium levels were low and that their TDS was manageable as well. So, after filtering their swimming pool water for five days we were able to lower their calcium to 160ppm and their TDS to 900ppm. Both of these levels are much lower than tap and they didn’t waste their water.

      ABOUT PURE WATER INDUSTRIES

Pure Water Industries aims to be the leader in mobile filtration and innovative water conservation techniques by offering a variety of different applications to conserve nature’s most precious resource… Water! These techniques are critical during times of drought conditions, disaster relief or wherever pure water is needed. Our trailers are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to lower the Calcium Hardness, Cyanuric Acid, Total Dissolved Solids, & mineral hardness of pool water. This process conserves up to 85% of the existing water in the swimming pool and puts drinking quality water back in your pool which is much better than tap water. The water level never changes which means this form of filtration can be performed 365 days of the year and you can even swim in the pool during filtration!

We specialize in both commercial and residential swimming pools. We can recycle swimming pool water 365 days a year and if you’re interested in learning more, contact us today!
