Lowering Calcium Hardness and CYA with Puripool in Grants Pass, Oregon
We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our service area into Oregon. We recently partnered up with Oregon Pure Water Industries who are located in Grants Pass, Oregon. They will be our latest company to become a Service Provider. When we started recycling swimming pool water in San Diego about eleven years ago we were excited to expand! As a company, we sat down and discussed what we felt would be a great model for others to use in their business. We settled on the Service Provider model because it is the easiest barrier to entry into starting your own business or add to your existing business. By doing this it has allowed us to build over 30 mobile filtration trailers for you and it has also allowed you to operate this business how you choose. Since we launched the Service Provider model, we now have 22 Service Providers all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, and now Oregon.
The mobile filtration trailers were constructed because they solve two major issues that we are currently dealing with in many parts of the United States. They were designed to lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Cyanuric Acid (CYA) in swimming pools and they can also help with water conservation/drought conditions as well. We have more than enough swimming pools in the United States and one of the biggest problems we all have is high levels of calcium in our tap water. The tap water is moderately “hard” in Oregon and over time calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals gradually build up and start scaling the water tile line, the interior finish of the swimming pool, spillways, water features, salt chlorinators, and filtration equipment. This happens because as water evaporates, the calcium remains in solution and increases in concentration. Typically, most pool professionals will tell you to drain and refill. The challenge with this is, not only do you fill the swimming pool back up with hard water but you also needlessly waste an average of 20,000-gallons of water. But, in Oregon, they also deal with high levels of CYA and wanted to come up with an option to lower it without draining the swimming pool. That’s why we started manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower CH, TDS, CYA, waterborne diseases, phosphates, salts, and so much more while conserving approximately 85% of the existing water in both residential and commercial swimming pools.
With that said, it is with great pleasure to announce that Robert E. Fate III of Oregon Pure Water Industries, in Grants Pass, Oregon, will be recycling residential and commercial swimming pool water in the Spring of 2020. Robert Fate III of Outback Pool and Spa in Grants Pass, Oregon wanted to be first on the scene in the Oregon area to give residential and commercial swimming pool owners an alternative to draining swimming pools to lower Calcium Hardness and CYA.
