Recycling Pool Water in Marana, Arizona
We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our service area into Marana, Arizona. Marana is just outside of Tucson, Arizona. We recently partnered up with Sparkle and Splash Pool Care who is located in Marana, Arizona. They will be our latest company to become a Service Provider. When we started recycling swimming pool water in San Diego about eleven years ago we were excited to expand! As a company, we sat down and discussed what we felt would be a great model for others to use in their business. We settled on the Service Provider model because it is the easiest barrier to entry into starting your own business or add to your existing business. By doing this it has allowed us to build over 30 mobile filtration trailers for you and it has also allowed you to operate this business how you choose. Since we launched the Service Provider model, we now have 22 Service Providers all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
The mobile filtration trailers were constructed because they solve major issues that we are currently dealing with in The Southwest United States. They were designed to lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), phosphates, nitrates, and waterborne diseases in swimming pools and they can also help with water conservation as well. The tap water is extremely hard in Arizona and over time calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals gradually build up and start scaling the water tile line, the interior finish of the swimming pool, spillways, water features, salt chlorinators, and filtration equipment. This happens because as water evaporates, the calcium remains in solution and increases in concentration. Typically, most pool professionals will tell you to drain and refill. The challenge with this is, not only do you fill the swimming pool back up with hard water but you also needlessly waste an average of 20,000-gallons of water. But, in Arizona, they also deal with high levels of CYA because many swimming pools use chlorine tabs. That’s why we started manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower CH, TDS, CYA, waterborne diseases, phosphates, salts, and so much more while conserving approximately 85% of the existing water in both residential and commercial swimming pools.
With that said, it is with great pleasure to announce that Mike Marchione of Sparkle and Splash Pool Care, in Marana, Arizona, will be recycling residential and commercial swimming pool water in the summer of 2020.
ABOUT SPARKLE AND SPLASH POOL CARE
Sparkle and Splash Pool Care first started in 2007 with Mike and Amy Marchione moving from the Bay Area to the Tucson Area. Mike is the type of person who will always want to be doing something even in “retirement”. After knowing a couple of people running pool companies in CA, Mike and Amy decided to move to start the business in Arizona and Tucson was the perfect fit for them.
They started off as a lot of companies do and purchased a route from a local company that was looking to leave the service business. The route was 50 customers of which even today they still are providing pool service for.
Sparkle and Splash Pool Care currently services of 500 regular route customers on a weekly basis. Over the years they as they have grown, they have added additional expertise in pool maintenance management which Mike did not have. This has led them to be one of the top leading Pool Service companies in Tucson. With the current management team and staff in place Sparkle and Splash is poised to continue to provide excellent pool care for years to come.
