Recycling Pool Water in Ventura County, California
We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our service area into Ventura County, California. We recently partnered up with Ventura County Pools, which is located in Camarillo, CA. They will be our latest company to become a Service Provider. When we started recycling swimming pool water in San Diego about twelve years ago we were excited to expand! As a company, we sat down and discussed what we felt would be a great model for others to use in their business. We settled on the Service Provider model because it is the easiest barrier to entry into starting your own business or adding to your existing business. By doing this it has allowed us to build over 30 mobile filtration trailers for you and it has also allowed you to operate this business how you choose. Since we launched the Service Provider model, we now have 25 Service Providers all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
The mobile filtration trailers were constructed because they solve major issues that we are currently dealing with in The Southwest United States. They were designed to lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), phosphates, nitrates, and waterborne diseases in swimming pools and they can also help with water conservation as well. The tap water is extremely hard in Southern California and over time calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals gradually build up and start scaling the water tile line, the interior finish of the swimming pool, spillways, water features, salt chlorinators, and filtration equipment. This happens because as water evaporates, the calcium remains in the solution and increases in concentration. Typically, most pool professionals will tell you to drain and refill. The challenge with this is, not only do you fill the swimming pool back up with hard water but you also needlessly waste an average of 20,000-gallons of water. But, in Southern California, they also deal with high levels of CYA because many swimming pools use chlorine tabs. That’s why we started manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower CH, TDS, CYA, waterborne diseases, phosphates, salts, and so much more while conserving approximately 85% of the existing water in both residential and commercial swimming pools.
With that said, it is with great pleasure to announce that Jeff Jones of Ventura County Pools, who will be recycling residential and commercial swimming pool water starting in spring of 2022.
