Reverse Osmosis Filtration For Your Home

Pure Water Industries, the leader in mobile and inline filtration as well as innovative water conservation techniques, offers a variety of different applications to conserve nature’s most precious resource… Water! For the past eleven years, we have primarily worked on swimming pools but over the past couple of years, that has transformed into the semi-conductor industry, cannabis, and now whole-house Reverse Osmosis systems.

When asked about Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration most individuals think of under the sink drinking water systems but there are many other options as well. RO technology goes beyond the abilities of typical water filtration by using a semipermeable membrane to remove impurities from water. RO water filtration provides a low-maintenance, chemical-free option to help achieve clean, great water each and every day. This water can be used for many things including your home. That is why we decided to write this blog post as we are now selling whole house RO systems that can be installed so RO water can be used everywhere.

Please note, it is important when looking at a whole house Reverse Osmosis system that you choose a system that will meet your daily water needs. The generally accepted consensus is each member of a household will consume 70 -100 gallons of water per day. That is why our smallest whole house Reverse Osmosis system is rated at 2,000 gallons per day (GPD) and go up from there. This size system can typically provide enough water for up to 3 bathrooms in the house. The 2,000 GPD option can also be upgraded to 4,000, 6000, 8000, or bigger depending on the needs. Each system also comes with a minimum of a 300 GPD storage tank where the water is stored while awaiting delivery to the home.

It is highly recommended that before our systems are installed that you run a water report so we have the ability to discuss pre-treatment options to protect the membranes and the system. This can be a combination of additional filtration or antiscalant. In conclusion, these whole-house systems are a great way to provide superior quality water everywhere in your home including your swimming pool.
