Today, Pure Water Industries and its network of service providers have helped conserve more than 500 million gallons of water through advanced reverse osmosis filtration and water recycling technology nationwide.

Bruce Wettstein – President
Bruce has been in construction his entire adult life, building everything from houses to bridges, and has been building swimming pools since 1995. His Dad owned a bottled water company in San Diego when Bruce was growing up, so quality water is something he has been around for a very long time. The idea for a mobile Reverse Osmosis system became a reality in 2009 when he built the first trailer. As a pool builder and realizing the waste of draining and refilling pools, this concept made perfect sense to address old, tired swimming pool water, with minimal waste. Bruce still builds each trailer sold and is proud to have Service Providers operating them currently in 7 states.
Ken Scheer – Vice President
Ken began his career in the water industry back in 2005. He has been working with RO filtration since 2008. Ken works with all our vendors to stay on top of new developments and key performance indicators to make sure we are delivering a high-quality product to the end-user. He is well rehearsed in knowledge for not only swimming pools but also how to utilize these systems in the home or wherever RO quality water is needed.
He has a strong passion for water quality and working directly with customers to help them achieve the goal they are seeking. Ken has also been in the sales and marketing industry since 1999 and enjoys utilizing the Internet to spread information on water quality. He has the ability and passion to not only build websites but also bring those websites to the forefront of Google and other Search Engines. Ken and Bruce have been business partners at Pure Water Industries since 2011 and proudly service residential and commercial applications. Our Backstory
Pure Water Industries was founded in 2009 with a simple yet powerful idea — there had to be a better way to recycle swimming pool water without the waste associated with draining and refilling pools.
As pool owners themselves, the founders understood the ongoing challenges caused by high calcium hardness, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), salt, and other hardness minerals that negatively impact water chemistry, swimmer comfort, and overall pool performance. At the time, most pools required draining every few years, resulting in massive amounts of unnecessary water waste.
Determined to find a better solution, the founders learned about reverse osmosis filtration technology being used to remove dissolved solids from swimming pools without draining the water. They traveled to Arizona to study the process firsthand and quickly realized that mobile reverse osmosis filtration could dramatically improve water quality while conserving significant amounts of water.
That experience led to the development of “The Puripool™ Process” — an advanced mobile filtration system designed to recycle swimming pool water using reverse osmosis technology. Working alongside leaders in the pool and reverse osmosis industries, Pure Water Industries developed one of the first highly efficient mobile RO filtration trailers focused specifically on swimming pool water recycling and conservation.
Since 2009, “The Puripool™ Process” has helped transform old, hard, and chemically imbalanced pool water into clean, purified water without the need for a full drain and refill. The process not only lowers Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), salt, and other dissolved contaminants, but also helps conserve nearly 85% of the existing water already in the swimming pool.
