Recycling Swimming Pool Water To Lower Hardness Minerals

Swim season is that far away and what that said, wouldn’t you want to be swimming in superior water quality?  Yes? Okay then let’s explain to you how you can be swimming in soft, clear, RO quality water.

At Pure Water Industries, we highly recommend changing out your pool water at least every two years (maybe sooner if you have a salt system)! Due to the high Calcium Hardness and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels in many areas of the country along with increasing Cyanuric Acid (CYA) levels that many pools have, you should change out your pool water more often. High calcium levels alone are one of the main reasons why residential and commercial swimming pool owners should replace their water every two years because scaling and other issues start to occur. As a residential or commercial swimming pool owner when hardness levels rise most pool professionals choose to either drain their pool or recycle it using The Puripool Process.

      Mobile Filtration Puripool Process

With our Reverse Osmosis (RO) mobile filtration the water level in the swimming pool never changes and the end product is much better than tap water. The process will lower CH, TDS, salts, CYA, phosphates, nitrates, waterborne diseases, and so much more! Not to mention, we can conserve up to 85% of the existing water in the swimming pool too!

Just last week, we were called out to a 35,000-gallon swimming pool because their Calcium Hardness levels were moderately high and their CYA levels were very high. The following is there before and after water chemistry:

      Calcium Hardness – 820 ppm

Total Dissolved Solids – 8036 ppm

      Cyanuric Acid – 200 ppm

After filtering this swimming pool with our mobile filtration system, we were able to lower the above issues to the following:

      Calcium Hardness – 120 ppm

Total Dissolved Solids – 764 ppm

      Cyanuric Acid – 30 ppm

With Calcium Hardness levels low, this homeowner will now have the opportunity to swim in superior water quality. In addition, their CYA is also now in an optimal range which allows chlorine to work more effectively. If you’re curious to know more and how we can help, please contact us today!
