Recycling Pool Water in North San Antonio, Texas
We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our service area into North San Antonio, Texas. We recently partnered up with Waterman’s Pool Water Purification, which is located in San Antonio, Texas. They will be our latest company to become a Service Provider. When we started recycling swimming pool water in San Diego about seventeen years ago, we were excited to expand! As a company, we sat down and discussed what we felt would be a great model for others to use in their business. We settled on the Service Provider model because it is the easiest barrier to entry into starting your own business or adding to your existing business. Doing this has allowed us to build over 35 mobile filtration trailers for you, and it has also allowed you to operate this business as you choose. Since we launched the Service Provider model, we now have 30 Service Providers all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.
The mobile filtration trailers were constructed because they solve major issues that we are currently dealing with in the Southwest United States. They were designed to lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), phosphates, nitrates, and waterborne diseases in swimming pools, and they can also help with water conservation. The tap water is extremely hard in Texas, and over time, calcium, magnesium, and other hardness minerals gradually build up and start scaling the water tile line, the interior finish of the swimming pool, spillways, water features, salt chlorinators, and filtration equipment. This happens because, as water evaporates, the calcium remains in the solution and increases in concentration. Typically, most pool professionals will tell you to drain and refill. The challenge with this is that not only do you fill the swimming pool back up with hard water, but you also needlessly waste an average of 20,000 gallons of water. But, in Texas, they also deal with high levels of CYA because many swimming pools use chlorine tabs and rising TDS levels. That’s why we started manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower CH, TDS, CYA, waterborne diseases, phosphates, salts, and so much more while conserving approximately 85% of the existing water in both residential and commercial swimming pools.
With that said, it is with great pleasure to announce that Stephen and Jennifer Petitt of Waterman’s Pool Water Purification will be recycling residential and commercial swimming pools!
ABOUT WATERMAN’S POOL WATER PURIFICATION
Our family team not only works together but is also avid saltwater anglers. Being around water and enjoying the outdoors is our passion. Stephen was born in Abilene, TX, and met his wife Jennifer of 20 years in Phoenix, AZ, before bringing her back home to Texas in 2017. Since then, they have been working on pools for over 25 years.
After spending some time in the San Antonio and Boerne area, they learned about how water conservation developed into everyday life. Stephen, knowing that swimming pool water should be drained every few years, and with the restrictions that have been put into place for draining swimming pools, they learned quickly that having to drain a pool was highly frowned upon. Stephen knew he had to find a solution on how he could save swimming pool water; this is how Waterman Pool Water Purification was founded.
