Heading into our eighth year of operations, Pure Water Industries has been manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that recycle swimming pool water in the San Diego area. We built our first mobile trailer which is still in operation today and have built twenty for various Service Providers in California, Texas, Nevada and Arizona. Our mission aims to be the leader in mobile filtration and innovative water conservation techniques by offering a variety of different applications to conserve nature’s most precious resource… Water! These techniques are critical during times of drought conditions, disaster relief or wherever pure water is needed. Our trailers are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to lower the calcium hardness, cyanuric acid (CYA), total dissolved solids (TDS), phosphates, salts, waterborne diseases and mineral hardness of pool water.

With swimming pools in our area, the tap water is loaded with calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals. Typically the level of hardness coming out of our tap is 400 parts per million (ppm) which is on the higher end of the recommended calcium levels for swimming pools. As water evaporates, the hardness minerals remain in solution and gradually increase in concentration. As this happens you will begin to notice calcium scaling on the water tile line, interior finish of the pool, filtration equipment, spillways and decorative water features. As soon as this happens most pool professionals will recommend changing out the existing water in the swimming pool. On average, this needs to happen every two years so you can only imagine how much water is wasted with the number of swimming pools there are. That’s why we began construction of building these mobile filtration trailers for other businesses to purchase. Currently, we have three different size trailers you can purchase, we run this as a Service Provider model so there are no franchise fees and it is your business to run. Our goal is to eventually service all cities in drought-stricken areas because for the following reasons our service is better than a drain and refill:

      • Water conservation (we conserve up to 85% of the existing water in the swimming pool)
      • We can finish most residential jobs in less than a day
      • There’s no downtime, you can swim in the pool while filtration is occurring
      • We provide your pool with drinking quality water
      • The interior finish is never exposed
      • If you perform this service every two years it will prolong the lifespan of your investment
      • This process will save you time and money
      • The water is much more fun to swim in
